Vietnam - Korea Gastronomy & Culture Festival 2011

On November 26 and 27, a gastronomy and Culture Festival of Vietnam and Korea will be held in Hanoi.

The Embassy of South Korea in Vietnam, The Department of Korean Tourism and The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism are co-organized the event. This event is one of the activities to celebrate the 19th anniversary of relations between Vietnam and Korea.

There will be food booths, and exhibition and sales area, outdoor areas and a lottery.

Come to the gastronomy, we will have chance to taste eleven famous dishes from Korea such as Kimchi, Bulgogi or Ttekbokki and Vietnam food like Pho (Vietnamese noodle), bun cha (Grilled Pork Noodle Soup) or cha gio (fried minced pork roll).

Joining the festival cost nothing but three Korean dishes will be priced about VND10,000.

Beside that, there are also Taekwondo performances, lion dances, game for the Vietnam Agriculture Exhibition Center (02 Hoang Quoc Viet street).

According to the organizers, all proceeds from the event will give for needy children in Vietnam.

This event is a chance to reinforce more the friendship between South Korea and Vietnam
