VietJet Air Expands services

BANGKOK, 6 March 2012: VietJet Air will add two domestic routes and increase frequency on its Ho Chi Minh City- Hanoi route during the up-coming summer timetable.
The Vietnamese low-cost carrier will launch a twice daily service, 27 April, between the business capital, Ho Chi Minh City and Danang, the country’s prime coastal resort in the central region.
On the same day, VietJet Air will increase frequency from three daily to eight daily on the Ho Chi Minh City-Hanoi route, the airline’s sole route at present.

But by 19 May it will expand  further, with a daily service from the capital city, Hanoi, to Nha Trang, a beach resort in the south central coast.
Also, it reports on its website, that regional routes will follow later this year.
The Danang-bound flight will depart at 0620 and 1440, while the Ho Chi Minh-bound flight will depart 0800 and 1620. The flight duration is one hour and 10 minutes.
The daily flight to Nha Trang will depart 0930 and will return to Hanoi at 1145. The flight duration is one hour and 45 minutes.
After several delays, VeitJet Air launched its first services, 25 December, last year, between the Vietnamese capital and Ho Chi Minh City. It now has a fleet of three 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft.

According to the airline, as of 27 February, it made 360 flights, carrying more than 40,000 passengers with a cabin factor exceeding 90%.
