For tourists wanting to experience the thrill of riding a sidecar around the UNESCO-listed town of Hoi An and other parts of central Vietnam then look no further than Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort and Spa. Recently, general manager Claude M. Balland and his team drove their guests through paddy fields, up and down greenery hills and mountains by National Road 14 to Tay Giang, Quang Nam Province which shares the border with Laos.

The Frenchman told the Daily on the phone on Wednesday that he and his team take guests to wherever they want to go, and the resort arranged tailored sidecar tours of 24 hours and longer for a minimum group of four people depending on the time, budget and interest.

Besides places of interest including local markets in Quang Nam, a three-day sidecar tour also takes in royal tombs, pagodas and the ocean in the UNESCO-recognized city of Hue, the picturesque Hai Van Pass located between Thua Thien-Hue and Danang. Balland also organizes tours to the Central Highlands resort city of Dalat.

Passengers get excited with the breathtaking scenery and distracts them from their tiredness on bumpy road sections and fear at the narrow winding sections of the road.
